We invite you to join us for our annual Field Day which promises to be a fun filled day with two tours and a picnic lunch, all located around Outlook, SK.

NOTE: Pre-registration is required by contacting Judy at: saskvegetable@agcouncil.ca or by phone (306) 975-6881

The cost for the Field Day is $35 for SVGA members and $50 for non-members.
(To become a SVGA member, the cost is $125 annually)

Our day begins with:
10:00-12:00 - A Tour of Spring Creek Gardens
• Storage Grading Facilities
• Strip Tillage
• Hooded Sprayer
• Research Plots
12:30-1:30 - A Picnic Lunch at CSIDC (meal is included with registration fee)
1:30-3:00 - A Tour of the Canada-Saskatchewan Irrigation Diversification Centre (CSIDC) Research Plots
• Broccoli and Cauliflower Heat Stress
• Sweet Potato Agronomy
• Leafy Greens Agronomy
• Wireworm Control
• Herbicide Screening on Spice Crops
• Integrated Pest Management of Cabbage Root Maggot

*Important* All visitors to CSIDC (Canadian-Saskatchewan Irrigation Diversification Centre) must complete a COVID-19 Vaccination Attestation Form, as per federal regulations. (Judy can send to you prior to the event.)
